As a young girl, Marlee fell in love with reading. In Kindergarten she would go to her schools library and check out books like Julie B Jones, The Magic Tree House, and more. Eventually her reading level soared to books like Nancy Drew, Harry Potter, Twilight, and others. A love for all the different places those pages could take her.

It was not until she fell upon an Author by the name Nicholas Sparks that she found an intro into Romance: The Last Song, Dear John, A Walk to Remember and more…Eventually finding Fifty Shades of Grey. (I know I know some of you Dark Romance girls are going to roll your eyes but just hear me out…it was a stepping stone.)

Coming from a broken home, she only read about LOVE in stories. Hanging close to the type of relationship she wanted some day; a man who was nothing like how her biological father was to her mother but more like the men she read about in those stories who would literally burn the world down for the women they loved.

Since then, she has dived deeper into Romance reading books like, Haunting and Hunting Adeline, The Lord’s Series, Mafia Romances and more.

One day, she got this crazy idea to write a story for herself. A story that would help her heal from SA. And a story that would give her a Debut into the world as an Author into Dark Romance.

So in conclusion, Marlee is just an ordinary girl - and woman - who loves HEA and Morally Grey men in the books she writes and reads.
